Carrie Osborne, LPC
Clinician
Hello! My name is Carrie & I’m excited to connect with you.
What I have come to value most is when someone trusts me enough to hear their story and sit with them where they are. Not because I have the answers or know exactly what to say. Rather, because humans are made for connection and sometimes need to be seen outside of ourselves to understand our own strength.
I have had the opportunity to work with all ages through the years in a variety of settings: daycare, dairy farm & country store, summer camp, school, residence life, bookstore, church, mission trips, and my current role in community behavioral health. As I continue my professional development, I look forward to working with couples, families, and individuals as they manage stressors, and communication barriers within various seasons of life. I am passionate about helping others better understand grief and loss and how it can impact us and the way we relate to those around us.

My professional work began in 2008 at Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania. I was a Resident Director and worked with the Student Life Counseling department. I shifted focus to pastoral care and counseling in 2012, interning and then becoming ordained in San Diego, CA where I worked as a chaplain in Kentucky and pastor Tennessee until 2017.
In August 2017, I began my community behavioral health journey in Chillicothe, Ohio with Integrated Services for Behavioral Health. I worked closely with the unhoused population, helping individuals and families find accommodations and get established with community resources. In 2019, I transitioned to school-based counseling at Adena Local Schools in Frankfort, Ohio where I worked for 6 years, through the COVID pandemic, assisting students (PreK-12 grade) with emotional regulation in the classroom and at home, working with families on communication and building community connections, as well as coming alongside teachers to assist with developing de-escalation strategies, and improving prevention and awareness skills. I also facilitated social emotional learning for school aged children during our summer Day Treatment program, creating an atmosphere of creativity, fun, and community to help youth build self-confidence, learn about their own sensory connections, and improve social skill development. In August 2025, I began my current work with families through Intensive Home-Based Therapy (IHBT). I have the opportunity to work with clients and their family members to help shift the focus from constant stress related to negative behaviors and interactions to finding positive patterns and learning how to strengthen healthy communication with one another.

My husband and I share our home in Chillicothe, Ohio with our two dogs, Onyx and Shadow. We enjoy reading together, taking the dogs to the park, and visiting family in Pennsylvania whenever we get the chance (my nephew was born April 2026!).
